Data deletion
Last updated: 21 October 2026
You can delete your Dmbotics data yourself, at any time, in a few clicks. If you can't sign in, or you're a follower of a Dmbotics user, email [email protected] and we'll complete the deletion within 30 days.
If you use Dmbotics
Delete your whole account
- Sign in to Dmbotics.
- Open Profile & settings (your avatar, top right).
- Under Your data & privacy, choose Delete my account.
- Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
This immediately and permanently deletes your account, rules, connected Instagram accounts (including the stored access token), activity, statistics, alert history and notification devices, and stops all automation. We also ask Instagram to stop sending us events for your account. Payment records are kept for accounting, without your name or email. This can't be undone.
Tip: use Export my data in the same place first if you'd like a copy.
Disconnect only Instagram
- In Dmbotics: open Instagram accounts and click Disconnect.
- Or in Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, then remove Dmbotics.
Delete followers' message text
In Profile & settings → Keep your followers' message text, choose Don't store. Any stored text is deleted immediately.
If you're a follower of a Dmbotics user
- Comments and messages you sent are only kept as text if the user chose to, and are deleted automatically after 7 or 30 days.
- If you shared your email or phone number in reply to an automatic DM, reply DELETE in the same chat and it is deleted immediately.
- For anything else, email [email protected] with your Instagram username and the account you interacted with. We'll delete what we hold about you within 30 days and confirm by email.
